Accessibility statement
Greece Private Tours wants every guest to be able to read a tour page and send a booking request for Santorini or Athens: on a phone in the sun, with older eyes, with a keyboard or a screen reader, on a ship’s slow connection. We build to the WCAG 2.2 level AA rules and measure rather than assume: the 37 colour pairings are computed against the AA thresholds.
What is built in
- Body text of 18 to 19 pixels, headings that scale with the screen, and no text set in images.
- Buttons, menu rows, filter rows, checkboxes and form controls are at least 48 pixels tall; nothing depends on hovering with a mouse.
- Labels sit above every field and stay visible; required fields say “required” in words; errors are listed at the top of the form with a link to each field, and the field itself is marked.
- One visible focus ring on every interactive element, a skip link to the content, one heading level 1 per page, breadcrumbs, and menus that work with the keyboard.
- The one animation on the site (the letters appearing on the name board) is replaced by the finished board when your system asks for reduced motion. There are no carousels, timers or pop-ups.
- Every page is complete without scripts: filters, search and the booking request all work as plain forms.
- Drive times, prices and fees are written as text and tables, never only as colour or position; the route of a tour is a numbered list that a screen reader reads stop by stop.
What we are still checking
Automated accessibility checks of every template and a run-through with a screen reader are part of the build plan and had not been completed on the date below. Photographs carry descriptions, but a meeting-point photograph is not yet available for every meeting point. The header menu lists the main sections only; the destination and port pages are reached from those sections and from the footer.
