Our vehicles

Greece Private Tours drives its own vehicles on Santorini and in Athens, and the size of your party chooses the class: a sedan for 1 to 3 guests, a minivan for 4 to 7, a minibus for 8 to 19 and a coach for 20 to 55, all air-conditioned with bottled water on board. The list below prints from the same settings the booking form uses.

The classes and their bands

  • Mercedes E-class sedan: 1 to 3 people
  • Mercedes minivan: 4 to 7 people
  • Minibus: 8 to 19 people
  • Coach: 20 to 55 people

Child seats are free on request; tell us the child's age. No vehicle has a lift or a ramp. A folding wheelchair travels in the boot.

Which vehicle will we get?

The one the band gives: the booking form reads your group size and names the class before you send the request, and the office confirms the vehicle by email. A party of four to seven rides in the minivan whatever its exact number, which is why four guests and seven guests pay the same total; from eight the day is priced per person because a minibus replaces the minivan, and from twenty a coach. Luggage for an airport or port day fits with the party in its class; say so in the request if you travel with more than one case each.

Access: wheelchairs, child seats, the road

No vehicle has a lift or a ramp; a folding wheelchair travels in the boot, and the driver helps at the door. Child seats are free on request when you tell us the child’s age. The vehicles are air-conditioned and carry bottled water; on Santorini the roads are narrow and the driver drops you as close to each stop as they allow, which at Oia and the villages means the edge of the lanes. What each site offers inside, steps, a lift, toilets, is printed on the attraction pages from the official sources with their dates.

Photographs

The three classes as the models look, photographed by others and credited under each picture: a Mercedes E-Class sedan for up to three guests, a Mercedes V-Class minivan for four to seven, and a Mercedes coach for the groups of the travel-agents page. Our own vehicles are of these classes; the office replaces these pictures with its own as it photographs them.

Groups of more than seven

A minibus from 8 guests or a coach from 20, priced per person on every standard day (the 4-hour, 5-hour and 8-hour tables, the last covering the longer day trips too), and in Athens the 8-hour group tour by coach, sold per person from 20 guests; the travel agents and groups page says what the office needs for a group quote, and the price guide prints the per-person rate beside the group bands. For a day of your own with any class, the private driver page covers the car by the hour.
