Private tour prices in Greece and Athens: our rate card, per group, with dates

Facts checked on 27 Sep 2026 against their official sources.

A private tour in Greece with Greece Private Tours costs the same in Athens as in Santorini: 300 EUR per group for 4 hours with up to 3 guests, 400 EUR for 4 to 7, and per person from 8, from the office’s rate card confirmed in 2026 and printed below. The 8-hour table also prices the longer day trips to Delphi, the Argolis and Meteora.

Per group or per person?

Per group up to seven guests, per person from eight. The group band is the vehicle: a sedan for 1 to 3, a minivan for 4 to 7, and from 8 a minibus, where the day is priced per head. So a couple on the 5-hour Santorini tour pays 400 EUR for the vehicle and the day; a family of four pays 500 EUR, which is 125 EUR each; a party of eight pays 100 EUR each in the minibus. The same bands apply to the 4-hour highlights in Athens and to the 5-hour days to Sounion and Corinth.

Which days take the 8-hour table, and what is still quoted?

Every standard day of eight hours or more: the full days in Athens and Santorini, the island days in Corfu and Rhodes, the day trips from Thessaloniki, and Delphi, Mycenae with Epidaurus and Nafplio, and Meteora, whose 9, 10 and 14 hours have no table of their own. The 8-hour table is the longest on the card, and one full-day price covers every longer day: 700 EUR for up to three guests, 800 EUR for four to seven and 100 EUR per person from eight, in Delphi as at Meteora. Still quoted by email, before anything is paid: a two-day version of any of them, a licensed guide, the boat round the Santorini cable car, and a day with stops outside our lists through the custom tour form. A car and driver by the hour starts at 50 EUR per hour on Santorini and in Athens alike, and a day you build on the build-your-day page prints its price as hours times the rate of the vehicle your party takes, in every place we drive.

Driver only, or driver with a licensed guide?

Every price on this page is for a vehicle and one of our own drivers, who drives, waits and gives practical orientation. A state-licensed guide, the only person who may guide inside a site or a museum, is a second person with a separate fee, added on request and quoted with the day; no rate for a guide is printed on this site yet. The driver-or-guide guide explains when you need one.

What is not in the price?

Entrance fees, paid at the gate and printed on each tour page with their date, the entrance-fees guide having the whole list; lunch and drinks; a wine tasting at a winery; the cable car for cruise guests in Santorini; a licensed guide; and a tip, which is a custom and not a charge, as the tipping guide says. The vehicle, the driver, the hours, the fuel, the parking, the waiting and bottled water are in it.

Does the place, the season or the pickup change it?

No. Athens and Santorini share the card; a pickup at a hotel, at the cruise terminals, at the top of the cable car or at an airport costs the same; the card has no seasons and no weekend rate. Two things change the price: the hours sold and the size of your group. The stops you choose do not, as long as the day stays within its hours. The Santorini price guide works the same card through for the island, the private tours in Greece page adds the days up over a longer stay; the Athens page and the day-trips page print it beside each day.

How current is this page?

The card was confirmed by the office on 20 September 2026 for 2026 and 2027, and every figure above is printed from it, the same file the tour pages and the booking form read; when the office changes a price, this page changes with it. Nothing is paid on the site: you send a request, the office confirms by email, and you pay the driver on the day.
