What does a private tour in Corfu cost?

The 4-hour tour is 300 EUR for up to three guests in a sedan and 400 EUR for four to seven in a minivan, which comes to 100 EUR each when four of you share it; the 5-hour Achilleion tour is 400 EUR for up to three and 500 EUR for four to seven, and the full day starts at 700 EUR. From eight guests every tour is priced per person in a minibus or a coach. Paid at the gate and not in the price: the Achilleion’s general admission, 7 EUR (checked 14 Oct 2026, achillion-corfu.gr), and the Old Fortress’s ticket, 10 EUR (checked 14 Oct 2026, hh.gr), if you choose to go in. Driver or licensed guide: which one do we need in Corfu?

A driver for the island, and a licensed guide only if you want the Achilleion explained room by room. Our driver takes you to each entrance, settles the order of the stops with you, waits with the vehicle and gives practical orientation; guiding inside a museum or a monument is the work of state-licensed guides under Law 5121/2024, and the Achilleion is run as a museum. The palace’s own list of free admissions names licensed guides with their professional ID and the driver of each group, so neither adds a ticket; the guide’s fee is quoted with your day on request. Four hours, five hours or a full day?

The 4-hour tour crosses the island to Paleokastritsa, 30 min and 22.9 km from the port, comes back by the Kanoni viewpoint and ends with an hour on foot in the Old Town, with 73 minutes of driving in all. The 5-hour tour stays close to town: 75 minutes at the Achilleion, the Kanoni viewpoint and almost two hours in the Old Town, with only 36 minutes on the road, so most of the five hours are spent on foot. The 8-hour day joins the two with a swim and lunch at Paleokastritsa in between. Where does the driver meet us?

Cruise guests are met at the passengers’ exit of the cruise terminal, where the driver holds a sign with your name; ships berth alongside at Corfu and the port has two passenger terminals, so give us the ship’s name and its times and the driver stands at the right exit. Hotel guests are collected at the hotel or villa, anywhere on the island, and brought back there. When are the Achilleion and the Old Fortress open?

The Achilleion opens every day of the year according to its own hours page: until 20:00 from April to October and until 16:00 from November to March, with reduced tickets sold only at its counters and e-tickets on its site. The Old Fortress keeps the Ministry of Culture’s hours, which shorten in steps through September and October, and closes on 1 January, 25 March, 1 May, Easter Sunday and 25 and 26 December, with the last admission 20 minutes before closing. What changes with the season?

The hours above, first of all: an afternoon at the Achilleion fits in summer and not in winter, when the full day puts the palace before lunch. The Port Authority announced 500 cruise-ship calls for 2026 and hands every cruise passenger a free guide to the town with maps, so the Old Town is at its busiest on ship days in the middle of the day; its cruise programme, linked from the port page, shows which days have ships, and a hotel guest who can choose takes a day without them. How does a day with us work?

Send us the date, the party size and your starting point; the site takes no payment, the office answers by email with the confirmation, and the driver is paid on the day. The driver comes to the terminal or the hotel at the agreed time, you settle the order of the stops together, and at each one the driver waits with the vehicle while you walk, swim or eat. The vehicle follows the party, a sedan up to three guests, a minivan up to seven, a minibus or a coach beyond that; a child seat is free on request, and a booking can be cancelled free of charge until 72 hours before the start. Can we change the route?

Yes, within the hours you book: a beach on the east coast instead of Kanoni, a longer stop at the palace, the Old Town first. Tell us in the request, or tell the driver. When none of the three fits, the custom tour form takes your own stops and hours and the office prices them from the same rate card, and cruise guests calling at more than one of our ports can ask for one plan for every call.
