Corinth in the morning, Athens after lunch. From the cruise terminals at Piraeus it is 71 min and 78.3 km without traffic, routed on OpenStreetMap, to the Corinth Canal for a 20-minute stop on the bridge; 23 min and 14.3 km to Ancient Corinth for an hour at the site and its museum; then lunch, an hour in a taverna at your own expense; then 80 min and 90.7 km back to the Acropolis for an hour and a half, 10 min and 3.3 km to Syntagma for the changing of the guard, 3 min and 2.1 km to the Temple of Olympian Zeus for 20 minutes, and 16 min and 12.7 km back to the ship. That is 203 min on the road and just over four hours at the stops, with half an hour in hand. From a hotel in the centre of Athens the first leg to the canal is 1 h 12 min and 78 km and the day ends at the hotel.
Ancient Corinth sells one ticket for the site and the museum, 15 EUR (checked 8 Oct 2026, hh.gr) full and 8 EUR (checked 8 Oct 2026, hh.gr) reduced, timed for a chosen date and a one-hour slot; the morning slot after the canal fits. The Acropolis is 30 EUR (checked 8 Oct 2026, hh.gr) with an afternoon slot, about four and a half hours after a morning pickup, and the Olympieion 20 EUR (checked 8 Oct 2026, hh.gr) with the slot after it; all three are paid at the gate or bought in the official shop, and none is in the tour price. Tell us your pickup time and the confirmation names the slots; the entrance-fees guide has the free days and the reduced categories, which are the same at all three.
The driver waits with the vehicle at every gate, for as long as you take, and keeps the day to its hours; the sites are explained from the inside only by state-licensed guides under Law 5121/2024, and a licensed guide for Corinth, for the Acropolis or for the whole day is booked in advance on request and quoted separately.
Ancient Corinth’s official pages say disabled visitors have access to the site and the museum and list an elevator, a WC, parking and a shop; the Acropolis is a climb on foot in walking shoes with a lift by arrangement with the guards’ office and toilets beside its main entrance; the Olympieion is level for the most part with accessible toilets. The tour as a whole is listed as not suitable for wheelchair users. No official page states the shade at any of the three, so ask your driver and carry the bottled water from the vehicle. Lunch is an hour in a taverna between Corinth and the city, at your own expense, with the driver waiting.
Per group on the 8-hour table the ticket above prints from the office’s rate card: 700 EUR for up to three guests in a sedan, 800 EUR for four to seven in a minivan, which is 200 EUR each for four, and per person from eight in a minibus; the form shows the total for your number and the office confirms it by email before anything is paid. The three tickets, lunch and a licensed guide are extra. Cruise guests are met outside their terminal at the Piraeus cruise terminals with a sign with your name, on a call of eight hours plus the margin we keep before all-aboard, which the Piraeus page prints; hotel guests in the lobby at the agreed time. For the canal and Ancient Corinth alone, the 5-hour Corinth tour is the frame; the same road continued to Mycenae, Epidaurus and Nafplio is the Argolis day.
In Greece, guiding visitors in museums and archaeological sites is the work of state-qualified guides registered with the Ministry of Tourism (Law 5121/2024, Articles 33, 34 and 40). Our drivers are not guides: they drive, wait and give practical orientation on the road. We can book a licensed guide for you on request and quote the guide separately. How hiring a driver in Greece works
Cruise guests: at the port of Piraeus, at the time we agree. The driver holds a sign with your name.
Your driver waits outside your ship's terminal at the agreed time with a sign with your name.
In the lobby of your Athens hotel, at the agreed time.
Arriving by air: at Athens airport, at the time we agree from your flight's arrival.
Your driver waits in the arrivals hall with a sign with your name.
Not suitable for wheelchair users.
A folding wheelchair travels in the boot; tell us in the request.
Cancel free of charge up to 72 hours before the start; tell us by email or WhatsApp.
Inside the last 72 hours, or if nobody shows up, the full price is due.
Changes of date or group size are free until the same 72-hour limit.
The full wording: the cancellation policy and the booking terms.
In effect, yes: the canal and Ancient Corinth as on the 5-hour day, then lunch and an hour and a half at the Acropolis with the guard and the Olympieion after it, inside eight hours.
No. Ancient Corinth sells one ticket for the site and the museum, the Acropolis and the Olympieion their own, all timed and paid at the gate; the amounts and the dates we checked them are printed above, and the confirmation names the slots.
In a taverna between Corinth and Athens, an hour at your own expense, with the driver waiting; say so when you book if you would rather eat in the city after the Acropolis.
Not to visit. Our driver waits at each gate and does not guide inside, by law; a state-licensed guide for Corinth, the Acropolis or the whole day is booked on request and quoted separately.
Only a long one: eight hours plus the margin we keep before all-aboard; the driver waits outside your terminal at Piraeus and the booking form checks the ship's times.
