What this is, and who does what

Two things on one day, run by two separate businesses. The photoshoot is the work of Santorini Flying Dress, a partner we recommend: the dress, the photographer, the locations in Fira, Imerovigli or Oia and the edited pictures come from its team, and its packages and prices are on its own site, not here. The private tour is ours: a vehicle for your party and one of our own drivers, who brings you to the shoot, waits through it, drives you between locations when the shoot moves, and takes you round the island before or after it. Nothing of the shoot is sold, priced or booked on this page.

How it fits into a day

A shoot runs from an hour in one village to five hours across four locations, and the longer ones come with a car and driver between them. The usual shape is a shoot in the morning light and a tour after it, or the other way round: the 4-hour tour to Oia, Firostefani, Pyrgos and a beach or a winery, the 5-hour tour with Akrotiri and the south, or a car and driver by the hour for a route of your own. From the top of the Fira cable car, Oia is 13 min and 10 km without traffic, routed on OpenStreetMap; Imerovigli lies on the same road along the rim.

What does it cost?

Two prices from two places. The shoot is priced by Santorini Flying Dress by its length and locations, and its site is where you read and book it. The driving is ours and is quoted by the office by email: a fixed tour at its printed price if you add one, or the car by the hour for the shoot itself, the way the car and driver page explains. Tell us the shoot you have booked, its start time and its locations, and the confirmation names the pickup, the hours and the price for your party.

Cruise guests

A one-hour shoot in Fira fits most calls: the driver meets you at the exit of the cable car’s top station with a sign with your name, the shoot’s team meets you where it has told you, and the day ends 90 minutes before all-aboard. A shoot in Oia adds the drive along the rim each way, and a longer one with several locations needs a long call; give us the ship’s times and we say what fits.

Where we meet, and what the driver does

At your hotel or villa anywhere on the island, or at the top station of the cable car for cruise guests. The driver waits at each location for the length of the shoot, carries what you bring, and knows where a vehicle can stop at the edge of Oia’s and Fira’s lanes; for the steps in the lanes, the shade and the nearest toilets, ask the driver, since no official page states them. A party of more than seven goes through the custom tour form, and the partner answers everything about the dress and the pictures on its own site.
