Santorini private tour prices, by hours and group size

Facts checked on 26 Sep 2026 against their official sources.

A private tour in Santorini with Greece Private Tours is priced per group, not per person: the 4-hour, 5-hour and 8-hour days each have one price for 1 to 3 people, another for 4 to 7, and a per-person rate from 8. The table below is the office’s rate card, printed from the same data every tour page uses.

Is the price per person or per vehicle?

Per vehicle and driver, for your group only. The group band sets the vehicle: a car for 1 to 3 people, a minivan for 4 to 7, a minibus from 8 and a coach from 20, so 4 people and 7 people pay the same total. From 8 people the day is priced per person, because a minibus replaces the minivan. On the 5-hour tour, 4 people pay 500 EUR together, which is 125 EUR each; 2 people pay 400 EUR for the same vehicle and the same day.

What changes the price, and what does not?

Two things change it: the hours sold and the size of your group. The pickup place does not: your hotel, the top of the cable car, the quay at Athinios and the airport cost the same. The date does not either; the rate card has no seasons. The stops you choose do not change it as long as the day stays within its hours; a longer day is simply the next duration up.

What is extra?

  • Entrance fees, paid at the gate. The one ticketed site on the Santorini routes is Akrotiri: 20 EUR (checked 8 Oct 2026, hh.gr) per adult.
  • The cable car for cruise guests coming up from the old port: 10 EUR (checked 8 Oct 2026, santorinicablecar.gr) one way per person.
  • Lunch and drinks, and a wine tasting at a winery stop, paid at the winery.
  • A state-licensed guide inside Akrotiri, booked on request and quoted separately. Our drivers drive, wait and give practical orientation on the road; guiding inside archaeological sites and museums is reserved for licensed guides by Greek law.

A family of four, a group of eight

Four people on the 4-hour tour pay 400 EUR for the vehicle, or 100 EUR each; on the 5-hour tour 500 EUR, or 125 EUR each. Eight people on the 5-hour tour pay the per-person rate, 800 EUR in all. We print no comparison with coach excursions, because we hold no sourced figure for them; set the per-person line above against the price on your ship’s excursion sheet and count the hours each one gives you at the stops.

When do we pay?

Nothing when you send the request and nothing when we confirm: you pay the driver on the day. Cancel free of charge up to 72 hours before the start; the booking page shows the exact deadline for your date.

How current is this page?

The table is not typed. It is printed from the office’s rate card, the same source as every price ticket on the site, and the date the office last confirmed it stands under the table. The entrance fee and the cable-car fare carry the date each was checked against its official source, and the tour pages print the same figures.
